Our client is seeking to employ a Facility Manager with a stable work record. The company has a maintenance department responsible for the maintenance of hard and soft services, Facilitate the buildings and associated plant and machinery. Next to that it includes the maintenance of the common areas and administration buildings and grounds of the plant and adjacent properties of the factory including other building facilities and further includes in general the care of air conditioning, electric power, plumbing and lighting systems, cleaning, grounds-keeping and security and in particular.
Qualifications (Not Negotiable)
· Degree in acknowledged field from a reputable accredited university in Facility Management or relevant
Qualification or an accredited CFM (IFMA)
· Working experience in management role, dealing with customers, buildings construction, electrical
reticulations, mechanical installations
Minimum 5yrs experience in a Facility Management
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and organizes all the non-core hard and soft services Facility Management
Activities in terms of the contractual agreement in place
· Organise the human resources necessary for delivering the services in effective and efficient teams to
provide the deliverables of the services as per the service level agreement
· Budget and financial planning
· Provide presentations on expansion/reduction/improvement of scope of provided services to the client
· Liaise and cooperate with the corporate departments and the other project leaders on improvements and
adjustments to procedures, processes and techniques
· Advise staff as to correct application procedures and technical action required when they wish to change
there space
· Monthly reports to Senior Management :
o Monthly superior Reports
o Monthly Management Project Report
o Monthly Quality Performance report
· Manage all the hard and soft services 3rd party contractors within Service Level Agreement concluded with them
· Arrange for and have regular meetings with 3rd party service providers on performance levels
· Regular physical and comprehensive inspections
· Disaster Management on the site under management
· Compliance to premises use
· Provide direct on the job training to subordinates as necessary
· Assist with cross pollination between projects
· Company policies, codes and practices
· ISO 14001 and other environmental protection legislation
